Salary: £90 – £110+ per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-termDo you have a passion for helping young learners thrive in a classroom setting?GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS3 Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Derby from September 2025. As a KS3 TA, this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with teenagers and want to make a lasting difference in their education.Responsibilities as a KS3 Teaching Assistant:

• Support students across Key Stage 3 and beyond, including in class, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support the delivery of lessons.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with a range of needs.
• Foster positive relationships and encourage student engagement.

To be a KS3 Teaching Assistant, candidates will be required to:

• Have experience working with students in school setting.

• Be confident, patient, and reliable.
• Show an interest in supporting students with additional or special educational needs.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable in supporting across subjects and year groups.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
