This role is potentially hybrid, but as it is a developmental role, we encourage all our Apprentices to be onsite as often as possible, especially during the first few months.Job DescriptionThis role will have a starting salary of £18,810This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.UKAEA’s Apprenticeship Scheme will allow you to gain the technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skills and behaviours needed for your immediate job role and future career. As a Level 3 Apprentice Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing mechanical support to Tritium Services Group, learning how to design, manufacture, install and maintain mechanical and electrical services, components, assemblies and equipment in accordance with current engineering and legislative codes of practice, and to provide a resource for ongoing requirement of Engineering and Technical Support to UKAEA site.Additional Responsibilities:

• Complete national academic qualification as defined by the apprenticeship training standard:
• Attend designated training provider, develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills.
• Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSES A*-C (9-4) including Maths and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate an interest and aptitude for chosen area of work.
