We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Autophagy and Lysosomal Dysfunction team at the Neurodegenerative Diseases Group.Education and qualifications:Required:

• ▪ FP2 (Técnico Superior en Laboratorio Clínico y Biomédico or equivalent)
• Certificate in handling animals for research purposes

Experience and knowledge:Required:

• At least 4 years of experience
• Experience in animal experimentation
• Experience in cell biology and molecular biology techniques: protein analysis techniques, maintenance and manipulation of cell cultures, histopathology techniques, immunofluorescence microscopy, purification and processing of biological samples (DNA, RNA, proteins), PCR, quantitative PCR, genotyping, etc

Desired:

• Any type of training courses related to the job description will be valued very positively

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
• Technical support in other molecular biology techniques.
• Support in lab organization (manage orders, reagent preparation…).

Labour conditions:

• Full-time: 40h/week
• Starting date: Immediate
• Gross annual salary: 20.288,10 Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
