Immerse yourself in an environment that prioritizes a “test and learn” philosophy, ensuring your ideas not only take flight but soar.At HyPrSpace, your work directly impacts our trajectory towards success, offering rapid skill development in an iterative, hands-on approach.Enjoy competitive compensation, flexible working conditions, and equity through our BSPCE stock option plan, all within the vibrant surroundings of Bordeaux, a nexus of culture, viniculture, and coastal life!Role overview:To accompany the growth of the company, we create a new key position : Launcher Technical Project Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of our Launcher product project, ensuring that studies, tests and summary reports are delivered to customers on time and within budget.You will coordinate internal work packages, allocate tasks to the technical managers of the sub-products and ensures that project milestones are met.In close cooperation with our Program project manager, you will manage costs to completion and monitor external partnerships, while ensuring risk management and the structuring of technical and maturity reviews.Reporting directly to our CTO/ Chief Engineer, you will spearheading innovation on our flagship launchers: Baguette One and OB-1. These rockets are set to fly in 2026 and 2027, and your work will play a key role in shaping their journey to space.Your primary objective will be clear : Ensure the project maturity and readiness for combined 1:1 flight model tests.Your key responsibilities :We will entrust you with the following key responsibilities: 1 – Project monitoring: Defining and monitoring the project’s schedule, budget and human resources objectives, ensuring that milestones are met.
2 – Budgetary management: summarizing the project’s final budget in order to anticipate cash requirements and support the company’s fund-raising efforts.
3 – Work packages coordination: allocating tasks to the technical managers of the sub-products and organizing technical and maturity reviews.
4 – Risk and partnership management: along with our risks Manager and our quality supplier manager, identifying and monitoring project risks and managing partnerships with companies supplying sub-assemblies.
5 – Project management methodologies: using advanced project management software (Planisware Orchestra, Oracle Primavera, Enterprise, etc.) to effectively manage costs, deadlines and resources.Who you are :Qualifications required: * Master’s or PhD in engineering

  • In-depth knowledge of complex systems development processes, ideally in the launcher / space or defense field.
  • Proven experience in budget management and structuring technical reviews

Knowledge in management of budgets to completion (Earned Value Management method) and good understanding of the financial issues involved in fund-raising is a +!Ready to take on this unique opportunity?
