The College
The London College of Music is one of the longest leading-established exam boards for the creative arts in the UK and strives for inclusivity and equality in line with the UWL mission.
LCME offer Music examinations in Music, and in Drama and Communication which are held at centres worldwide as well our Digital platform that offers both recorded and live online exams (coming shortly). Our qualifications are unique in the graded exam sector in being awarded by a University.
The exams portfolio covers a wide range of syllabi with new developments being considered to broaden the offer in the future. UWL is committed to LCME and will continue to invest in opportunities to improve the quality of the experience for staff and candidates of LCME.
The Role
The role of Head of London College of Music Examinations is to manage all business aspects of LCM Exams supported by the LCM Exams operational group, compliance group and LCME executives. This includes direct line management of the chief examiners, customer service manager and publications manager. The role will have oversight of business development, the examination portfolio, marketing, liaison with representatives and will work alongside UWL Quality to ensure compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with energy and vision to guide LCME into the next phase. “Underpinned by history but ever bound by it!”
This should be in alignment with the University Strategic Plans and the University’s policies and procedures, with a particular emphasis on quality assurance and enhancement.
