We are seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer , The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jenkins, Scrum, Java, TestNG, Jira, Selenium, Maven, and PL/SQL, along with domain expertise in Retail Banking and Cards & Payments. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our projects.Key Responsibilities :– Lead the quality assurance efforts for projects within the Retail Banking and Cards & Payments domains.– Oversee the implementation of testing frameworks using Jenkins, TestNG, and Selenium to ensure robust and reliable software.– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to define and implement quality standards.– Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, and other relevant frameworks.-Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.-Perform cloud testing on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to ensure the scalability and reliability of applications.-Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.-Participate in transformation initiatives to improve testing processes, including the adoption of new tools and technologies.-Ensure that automated tests are executed as part of the build and deployment process, and that test results are accurately reported.-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.– Utilize Jira for tracking and managing defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.– Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.– Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.– Monitor and report on key quality metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.– Provide technical guidance and support to team members on automation best practices and tools.Key Skills and Experience :– Possess extensive experience in Jenkins, TestNG, and Selenium for automated testing.– Bring domain knowledge in Retail Banking and Cards & Payments to ensure relevant and effective testing.-Strong experience in developing automated tests for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.-Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.-Experience with cloud testing on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.-Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
