You will have extensive knowledge of Terrafrom as a way to deploy infrastructure as code. Your primary focus is to provide leadership and line management to any devops engineer who are working on new projects and supporting existing services. You will work collaboratively to define common approaches to infrastructure provisioning, management and monitoring. You will ensure development standards are documented and maintained by the team. Within your role, you will be developing the teams’ adoption of agile ways of working alongside, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Analysts. You will be successful in supporting teams to adopt new tools and approaches to development and continue to change as the organisation expands its portfolio of internally developed systems. Development teams main tech stacks/approaches are .NET / React / Azure / Azure DevOps but knowledge of AWS and other tech stacks and hosting models is also essential. To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
