Lead Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Lead Fullstack Developer to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-scale applications using Node.js and Angular, while ensuring optimal performance and delivering innovative solutions. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers and maintain high-quality standards.Please note that this role requires working from the EPAM office in Krakow or Gdansk for three days a week.ResponsibilitiesBuild, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js for backend and Angular for frontendEstablish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the development teamEnsure seamless integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services to deliver efficient applicationsLead and mentor a team of fullstack developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to project timelinesConduct thorough code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across the codebaseMonitor and optimize application performance to enhance scalability, security, and speedTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire technology stack to ensure system stabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with organizational goalsRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIsA minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management roleStrong hands-on experience with Node.js for backend developmentProfessional expertise in Angular for building frontend interfacesCommercial experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, and CloudWatchProficiency in working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL databasesAbility to analyze legacy applications and define target-state architecture and designFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and processesFluent English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higherWe offer/BenefitsWe gather like-minded people:
