About the Position

The Lead Sales Learning & Development oversees the development and design of effective learning experiences for salespeople. The role utilizes instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create effective and engaging course content and activities that enhance knowledge acquisition and skills development of salespeople. The Lead Sales Learning & Development manages a team of contracted instructional designers to build the course material utilizing multimedia tools and learning development software.

Your Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Setting up a network of contracted instructional designers and lead the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality instructional materials. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
• Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end development process of instructional materials, from needs analysis and design to implementation and evaluation. Establish project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Collects different requests for learning developments, estimates the workload, and submits them to the steering committee for learning development to establish the different priorities of sales learning development projects
• Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts and sales enablement functions to analyze skill gaps and learning needs and identify appropriate instructional strategies and delivery methods. Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and assessments. Leverage instructional technologies and authoring tools to enhance the design and delivery of learning experiences.
• Quality Assurance – Evaluation and Measurement: Implement feedback mechanisms and evaluation strategies to continuously improve learning experiences based on learner feedback and performance data. Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of the training programs which were developed. Analyze data to make data-driven decisions and continuous improvements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in instructional design, with demonstrated expertise in designing and developing learning materials across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning).
• Experience with instructional design authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and learning management systems (e.g., Monday.com, SAP Success Factors).
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
