As a member of the IOTBU engineering team you will participate in the design and development of Cisco Cyber Vision, a comprehensive asset inventory, network monitoring and threat detection solution for control engineers and IT security leaders to work together in building and managing efficient OT security strategies.

Our solution is developed with the following technical stack:

• PostgreSQL for storage

• Golang for system services

• RabbitMQ for distributed messaging

• Kubernetes for infrastructure

• React for frontend

• Lead a team of software engineers using the scrum agile method, oversee day-to-day activities.

Skills needed:

• Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or networking, or equivalent degree

• 5+ years of experience leading teams of at least 5 software engineers

• 3+ years in a people management role

• Experience with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, microservices, distributed messaging) and/or Linux system development

• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and strong presentation skills.

• Attention to detail and consistency in your work.

• Working knowledge of software engineering in general, from development to quality, testing, security, release management.

• Strong problem-solving skills, balancing the needs of the business with the human side of leading a team.

By joining our team in Lyon, you will have the opportunity to join our team of 35 engineers. Our office is brand new, the open space is very pleasant with adaptable stations, we also have a lab able to recreate industrial networks to play with our product, Cyber Vision. The offices are next to the Parc de la Tête d’Or where you can practice sports, or simply go for a walk during a break. Or you can simply enjoy the view from our rooftop!

We are also very sporty; we have set up group crossfit classes twice a week and also go golfing and we are obviously open to set up other activities to share fun moments around work.

And don’t forget Lyon is a little Paris, capital of gastronomy, just a stone’s throw from the ski slopes and 2 hours from the sea.
