Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor Sustainable Biosystems Engineering within UCD School of Biosystems and Food Engineering. The UCD School of Biosystems and Food Engineering is a dynamic, research-driven school with a clear focus on delivering excellent teaching programmes. The School has an acknowledged international track record of research achievement across major fields including Food and Bioprocess Engineering, Biosystems Analysis and Modelling, Agricultural and Environmental Technologies, Energy and Circular Bioeconomy. The School now wishes recruit an Assistant Professor in Sustainable Biosystems Engineering who will play a key role in the development and delivery of the School’s taught and research programmes across the Life cycle analysis and technologies for sustainable systems domains. Applicants with experience in applying engineering principles to analyse and solve problems for sustainable biosystems with a focus on the circular Bioeconomy and green technologies are particularly invited to apply. The successful candidate will hold a primary degree in Engineering and a PhD in Biosystems Engineering or cognate discipline. 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €60,261 – €95,425 Per Annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00hrs (local Irish time) on the 19th of April 2024.
