Are you an ambitious and dynamic academic, with experience in cyber security, information security, and programming languages?

We are looking for a lecturer to support the delivery of the Computer Science curriculum in order to meet the high expectations of both home and international students. You will support students through personal tutoring, organise and deliver a range of teaching and learning, and engage students in extra-curricular activities. You will need to have the ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

The School of Computer Science is a key player in the continued success story of the University of Lincoln. It pursues a blend of fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary research, with current focus areas in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and Human-Computer Interaction.

The University is committed to building a culturally diverse institution, where all staff and students can flourish and feel valued for their contribution and individuality. We are encouraging talented people, whatever their background, to work and study here. All appointments are made on merit. We particularly welcome applications from suitably qualified female academics, as they are currently under-represented in positions within the School.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Prof Simon Parsons, Head of the School of Computer Science, at [email protected] .

In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln.
