The Department of Social & Political Sciences at Brunel University London is a thriving interdisciplinary Department, which features research and teaching in Politics, International Relations, History, Sociology, Communications and Media Studies, Journalism, Anthropology and Criminology. We are now planning to launch a BSc in Human Geography. The Department has superb research across all disciplines, together with excellent NSS results.
We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer on a permanent basis to broaden our research and teaching in the Geographies of Environmental Change / Environmental Justice. We would particularly welcome applications from geographers who are able to teach about the physical processes of environmental change.
The appointee will join a well-established research and teaching department with an outstanding track record of success. You will be expected to contribute teaching across our programmes, particularly in Geography and potentially in other relevant areas. You will also be expected to participate in at least one of the research centres and/or hubs in the College of Business, Arts & Social Sciences, or a University Research Institute.
