Starting salary from £48,149 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £55,755 per annum.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Law to undertake research within the framework of the School’s research strategy and contribute to the teaching, assessment and module organisation on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We welcome applications from International Commercial Law scholars, and especially those with expertise in International Commercial Arbitration, Finance and Banking, Carriage of Goods, and Oil and Gas.You will have the opportunity to develop your research profile within a strong research community, producing high quality proposals to secure external research funding and disseminate results through academic publications and conferences. Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervise dissertation and PhD studentsYou must have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject area or be near completion with submission within six months of commencement of the post. You must also have teaching experience and a strong research profile.This full-time post is available from 1 September 2025 on an indefinite basis.UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
