Lecturer in Media

The School of Arts and Humanities seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Media to join the Department of Journalism and Media. Working within established module teams, and supported by the Principal Lecturer and Course Leaders, you’ll be involved in the delivery of teaching of undergraduate students on our portfolio of Media  courses. With excellent communication and presentation skills, you’ll have the expertise to  deliver specialist modules in media, with a particular interest in gender studies, popular culture and cultural policy. 

You will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to education, be a real team player, be able to actively contribute to our teaching to support the existing delivery, and help further develop the teaching of media and communications here at NTU.  You will be encouraged to engage in research, scholarship and/or practice within the School. Ideally, you will have a PhD, or be close to completion, and an emerging record in scholarly or professional practice activity, which complements our existing strengths.
