Candidates are asked to clearly identify which level they are applying for and evidence how they meet each of the subject specific criteria as detailed in the person specification, including:
- An emerging (Lecturer) or established (Senior Lecturer) track record of independent research in Geography that will strengthen the Department’s internationally excellent research output and research-led teaching.
- An ability to deliver highly impactful research beyond academia.
- Conducting research that is advancing the frontiers of: Earth Observation and Modelling of the biosphere and atmosphere; or Modelling the cryosphere; or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ideally with application to Human Geography and Social Sciences.
- Prior experience of high-quality teaching in Geography at University level.
