You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the companies interests, providing sound legal guidance, and ensuring regulatory compliance across operations. This role includes leading efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our residential property team, supported by a dedicated legal assistant.Key Responsibilities:– Provide expert legal advice on residential and commercial real estate transactions.– Oversee residential litigation matters, including court representation and legal process management.– Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other key documents.– Conduct thorough legal research and stay informed about evolving laws and regulations.– Address property management issues, including tenant disputes, property maintenance, and compliance.– Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders as required.– Develop and implement company policies and ensure legal compliance in all operations.– Present legal insights and progress reports to the Legal Director and senior management.– Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Requirements:– Qualified solicitor with a strong academic background (LLB required; LLM or additional qualifications advantageous).– Significant experience in residential and commercial real estate, litigation, and property management.– Comprehensive knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and litigation procedures.– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.– Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.– Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.– A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and evolve the role.If you are a legal professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, growth-focused environment, apply today!
