Legal CashierLocation: Cwmbran
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time, permanentAbout the roleWe’re looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join our team in Cwmbran. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing our financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules. You’ll work closely with other departments to maintain the smooth running of our office and client finances.Key responsibilitiesMaintain and update office and client ledgersReconcile bank statements and promptly resolve discrepanciesProcess financial transactions, including payments in and out, bank transfers, and chequesPrepare weekly and monthly financial reportsGenerate client invoices and follow up on overdue paymentsHandle purchase ledger invoicesCheck completion packs to ensure all financial aspects are in orderCollaborate with internal teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up to dateRequirementsExperience: Previous experience as a Legal Cashier is essential
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules
