The individual will report to the Compliance Associate Director & DPO.Job PurposeSupport the management of the Barilla Integrated Compliance System (which encompasses international sanctions, AML, antibribery, corporate liability regulation, antitrust, food & adv law and privacy) by assisting the Compliance Associate Director in the provision of compliance guidelines, policies, opinions and trainings, pursuing continuous improvement of said system.Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the design and keep updated the policies and procedures in Compliance matters
  • Analyse compliance issues and support in the issue of legal advice in Compliance matters
  • Keep updated all the Company Units with the relevant regulatory changes (legal newsletter)
  • Following regulatory changes, collaborate to organize training sessions, and inform interested functions of possible impact on operations
  • Support in the performance of compliance due diligence checks on third parties through dedicated software
  • Support the coordination of compliance activities and projects to effectively implement the Barilla Integrated Compliance System
  • Support the risk prevention activities related to compliance potential liabilities, by analysing the AS IS situation, identifying potential risks and preparing the proper documentation to report the situation to Management and the relevant Group functions
  • Liaise with external Law Firms and consultants in order to analyse specific issues
  • Other residual activities: support governance bodies (e.g., Boards of Directors) and compliance committees (e.g., Organismo di Vigilanza, Global Compliance and Audit Committee) in a secretarial capacity

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the legal field, preferably within a corporate or international environment, or law firms
  • Master’s Degree in Law
  • Fluency in English, Italian is a plus
  • ICA (or equivalent certifications) is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
