How you’ll help us.Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the General Counsel EMEA, and as part of the role, you’ll:

• Support the business by handling legal matters, including responding to requests, drafting, negotiating, reviewing agreements, legal documents, and letters, and handling terminations.
• Work with the team and outside counsel to assess legal risks, implement procedures and guidelines, and-where necessary-steer projects in the right direction.
• Manage litigation and disputes.
• Work in legal fields such as Commercial contracts, Privacy, E-commerce / IT, Corporate law, Consumer law, Real Estate, and Competition Law.

More about you.

• Qualified lawyer, preferably in an EU jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience, preferably as an inhouse counsel for an international organisation.
• Preferably have IAAP credentials and experience as a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
• Fluency in English is essential, preferably fluent in another EU language as well.
