A well-known Manchester-based organisation is looking to appoint a Legal Counsel on a fixed-term basis to support a key global contracting initiative. Operating in 20+ countries, the company is dedicated to advancing health, wellbeing, and sustainability, with a collaborative in-house legal team that values integrity, purpose and professional development.What You’ll DoReporting to the General Counsel, you’ll work closely with legal colleagues across the UK, Europe and America, supporting the negotiation and delivery of high-value commercial agreements. You’ll play a key role in aligning legal input with commercial priorities, particularly within manufacturing, procurement and supply chain.Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts including manufacturing, supply, logistics, warehousing, services, and NDAsAdvising on contractual risk and early-stage disputesManaging external legal advisors where requiredSupporting legal business partners and coordinating cross-functional legal inputSupporting broader commercial and compliance initiatives across the GroupWhat You BringYou’re a commercially minded and adaptable lawyer with solid experience advising on complex commercial contracts.
