We are looking for highly-motivated, result oriented individuals for the following position to be part of our growing team.What is the job about?We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Group Legal Department at our shared services office in Budapest, Hungary, working specifically in our Global Legal Commercial Team. The Legal Counsel will collaborate with experienced international colleagues and refer to the Head of Legal Operation, Corporate and Commercial based at the Grundfos Headquarters in Denmark. In this role the Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing high quality and independent legal advice and support, mainly to the commercial parts of the Grundfos group of companies but also to other key functions and stakeholders across the organization.Your main responsibilities:

• Advise broadly on legal commercial related matters, including contract drafting, contract review and negotiations within fields such as sale of goods- and services, purchasing, digital offerings, agents- and distributors, and other commercially related contracts
• Development and implementation of standard templates, processes, policies, tools and playbooks
• Main contact person for matters within designated areas of responsibility, including geographical areas, specific internal functions and specific subject matters
• Heighten general and specific legal knowledge within designated areas of responsibility
• Develop and conduct legal training
• Legal support on development of new business models and bring them to the market
• Support Divisional Legal Business Partners in their global/regional/local efforts
• Ensuring high ethical standards and a Group mindset in all processes and tasks
• Act as centre of excellence on commercial law topics
• Support to the Grundfos Group on ad hoc legal issues

Your backgroundWe imagine that you have:

• Master’s degree in law and/or business law
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience as an attorney at one or more law firms and/or with in-house legal departments, including experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts
• Collaborative mindset thriving in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate values open communication, actively contributes to group efforts, and supports colleagues to achieve shared goals
• Strong ability to work independently, showing confidence in decision-making and time management
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders
• Fluency in English (both oral and written) and preferably another major language e.g. Spanish
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances and to remain collected under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and geography
• Service-minded, commercially thinking personality and with a solution-oriented mindset
