• The Employment team provide guidance on a range of employment law matters to a wide range of businesses including corporate clients, public and private sector organisations. This includes management of disciplinary processes, management of absence, performance, employee relations and equality issues, gender balance in the workplace, diversity and inclusion initiatives, health and safety and statutory compliance.
• You will work with a supportive team offering collaboration and, as a member of the team, you will be encouraged.

THE ROLE

• Onboarding new clients to include Conflict check and Client Due Diligence processes, adhering to the Firms best practice processes.
• Ensure all file management processes are undertaken correctly by identifying matters for closure, bills are paid, clearing client balance, WIP and archiving completed files.
• Prepare court pleadings, document management, Due Diligence reports, prepare letters of advices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients of the employment team.
• Take ownership of tasks ensuring they are completed and delivered to fee earners in a timely and accurate way.
• Demonstrate technical competency in order to support fee earners.,

THE CANDIDATE

• At least 3 years’ Legal PA experience (or equivalent) gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level. Experience in Employment Law and/or Litigation is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation.
• Case management system experience together with digital dictation skills.
• Remain calm in time sensitive situations or under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
• High degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
