This role will support the lending objectives of the credit union by assisting in the management of all aspects of the loan application process.The successful candidate will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements as set out in the Central Bank Guidelines, (QFA/APA). The Credit Union will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain this qualification if they do not have it currently.Responsibilities:Assist with loan applications via all channels (online, phone, branch)Managing all online/e-mail lending related correspondenceManagement of the lending ‘pipeline’ processTaking all external lending related callsBe aware of and compliant with Credit Union internal policies, processes & legislative requirements.Assist with relevant training within the lending teamInvolvement in maximising lending opportunitiesOther ad hoc duties related to the efficient running of the Lending departmentRequirements:APA/QFA Qualification PreferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work at a fast pace while maintaining high standardsFlexible and able to respond to changing business requirementsGood listening skills, teamwork, and a ‘can do’ attitude, working to tight SLA timeframes.Absolute commitment to member excellenceThis position is a Full-time, specific-purpose contract position.Life Credit Union is committed to attracting, recruiting, and retaining individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and competencies.
