This role requires lifting, moving and carrying books.

This is a permanent, part-time post, working 18 hours per week.

About you

You will have experience of providing excellent customer services.

You will have the ability to undertake a range of routine tasks with care and accuracy.

You will have good IT skills.

You will work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience of working in a library environment or customer services environment is desirable.

  • An excellent contributory pension scheme
  • A comprehensive range of childcare services
  • Family leave schemes
  • Cycle loan scheme
  • Discounted bus travel and Season Ticket travel loans

The University also runs an enormous amount of social groups and sports clubs for those looking for more than just a great place to work.

Diversity

Our staff and students come from all over the world, and we proudly promote a friendly and inclusive culture. Diversity is positively encouraged, through diverse groups and champions, as well as a number of family-friendly policies, such as parental leave, support for staff returning from periods of extended absence, and access to the same training as full-time members of staff.

How to apply

You will be required to upload your CV and a Supporting Evidence Form using the attached template as part of your online application. The supporting evidence lists each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one.
