Description

The University of Chester is seeking to appoint a Network Officer within the Network Services team.  This position will play a key role in delivering network service in the University’s data centres and Azure platform.  It will suit a self-motivated individual driven to expand their skills and knowledge into new areas by becoming part of well-established team.  The role holder will work collaboratively with other members of the Network Services team as well as with end-users and colleagues throughout the University to support the delivery of the Digital Chester transformation program. 

You should have a technical degree or relevant equivalent experience. You will also have experience within a technical IT services role including significant experience of Windows Server, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.   Practical experience of technologies such as SCCM/MECM, InTune, Active Directory, HyperV, and AVD are desirable.  Any potential applicant must have extensive experience of delivering high quality second and third line support for Windows and cloud applications.

The ability to problem solve, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills is essential to this role
