Help bring science to life and join a leading pharmaceutical company to play a key role in delivering impactful research that drives healthcare innovation!Hobson Prior is seeking a Local Pharmacovigilance Specialist based in Belgium to focus on ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products by managing local safety systems and processes. This position requires fluency in Dutch and conversational skills in French. You will be responsible for maintaining safety documentation, conducting local literature searches, and collaborating with global teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage local safety systems for monitoring drug safety.
• Conduct searches of local literature for safety information.
• Handle local reports of side effects from medications.
• Screen for safety information relevant to the region.
• Maintain local safety documentation.
• Implement and manage data collection systems.
• Adapt and submit safety reports and risk management plans locally.
• Detect and address potential safety signals.
• Implement measures to minimize risks associated with medications.
• Review safety-related materials.
• Participate in audits and inspections related to safety.
• Attend regular project meetings.
• Provide monthly updates on the status of local safety systems.
• Train local employees and partners on safety procedures.
• Collaborate closely with global safety teams and departments.
• Develop and maintain local safety procedures.
• Work with a deputy to ensure continuity of responsibilities.
• Take on additional tasks as needed, aligning with your skills and training.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch and conversational in French.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and local teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the pharmaceutical industry.
