Job Description:Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse professionals, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators.Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational goals, safety updates, and priorities.Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and oversee training programs to ensure a high-performing team.Operations ManagementPlan, schedule, and execute daily warehouse activities to meet production and shipping deadlines.Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity.Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate inbound and outbound shipments.Safety and ComplianceUphold workplace safety standards and company policies.Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain a hazard-free environment.Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and automotive standards.Equipment and Facility MaintenanceOversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.Collaborate with maintenance teams to address facility issues promptly, minimizing downtime.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare and submit reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Document and communicate operational procedures, ensuring team-wide adherence.
Candidate Profile:Key Skills and CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills.In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.Familiarity with automotive parts and material handling is a strong advantage.Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Highly organized with an acute attention to detail.Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Good knowlegde of English and basic Dutch comprehensionWilling to work in 2 shiftsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in warehouse supervision, ideally within the automotive industry.Certification in forklift operation and knowledge of safety standards.What Client Offers:You will join a brand-new warehouse of a growing Scandinavian company, where you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the foundations of their logistics operations.In return for your dedication, you can count on a permanent contract from day one, along with an attractive salary package supplemented by additional fringe benefits.Do you recognize yourself in the profile above?
