Job description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing logistics activities in a manner that shall meet business fulfillment requirements in parallel with the goal of transportation cost reduction. The position is responsible for managing Finish Good deliveries in ERP system as well as collecting and communicating all necessary information related to pick-up activities and ongoing shipments.Tasks

• Placing demand in OTM for the outgoing shipments, communicate with the router team
• Coordinates the pick-up of the export shipment from the factory with the local customs and crating team
• Accurately issue shipping documentations such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, and packing lists of OSP shipments
• Managing finish good inventory in ERP system, creating shipping invoices, plan and ship-confirm the Finish goods deliveries in ERP
• Take the lead of the month and quarter ends, cooperating with production/material teams, finance team and crating/customs
• Ensure finish good delivery’s schedule is supporting financial purposes
• Coordinate the international and domestics routing teams, support using contract rates or obtaining spot quotes
• Communication with freight forwarders, shippers, consignees and internal communication within the team
• Monitoring and tracking the shipments and keeping internal and external clients informed about the status

Expectations

• Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree – focus in Logistics preferred
• Knowledge of English on advanced level is must
• Comfortable in matrixed cross-functional environments
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Computer skills (must be competent in MS Excel, Power Point).
