What does a Logistics Manager do?

The Logistics Manager leads daily logistics operations at the Bellusco plant, ensuring reliable supply, efficient transportation, and accurate inventory control. This role drives team performance, aligns customer needs with cost and service goals, and promotes continuous improvement. It is a key leadership position within the regional logistics network, requiring strong execution and data-driven decision-making.

Why do we need you?

We need a Logistics Manager who can:

-Oversee inbound, in-house, and outbound logistics operations.
-Ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency through effective transportation planning.
-Manage relationships with carriers, warehouses, and 3PL partners.
-Drive team accountability, performance management, and continuous improvement.
-Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and corporate standards.
-Leverage ERP data and analytics to improve predictability and efficiency.
-Collaborate across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service.

Qualifications
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
-Experience: in supply chain management with a focus on logistics in a manufacturing environment; minimum 4 years in a leadership role.
-Technical Expertise: SAP proficiency and strong knowledge of logistics and production planning processes.
-Core Competencies: Customer orientation, change management, adaptability, communication and collaboration.
-Languages: English (good command).
-Location: Candidates must live in the immediate area.
