The scheme offers highly competitive salary and research costs.About usProf. Soto-Faraco is an ICREA research professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra whose main field of research is Perception and Attention in Cognitive Neuroscience. Prof. Soto-Faraco is interested in the multisensory processes that underlie perception across several domains, including motion, localization, time, speech, and body representation. He is also interested in the interplay between attention and multisensory integration mechanisms in real and virtual environments.The Multisensory Research Group led by Prof. Salvador Soto offers an attractive research environment on several thematic branches with a variety of methodological approaches. 1) Multisensory processing in the real-world; 2) Interaction between cognitive control and perception; 3) Brain Computer Interfaces using EEG; 4) EEG and Spatial Navigation. However, we have started projects in other areas, including decision making, memory, and Autism.
