Lung cancer clinical nurse specialist

You will provide specialist advice, information, education and support to patients, their carer’s and other health care professionals. You will be managing a patient caseload and will act as a key worker and advocate for the lung cancer patients from the point of diagnosis. An integral part of the role will be to communicate to patients in a way that empowers them to make informed choices about their health and treatment.

What we’re looking for

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced band 6 nurse to look after and provide high quality care for our patients on the lung cancer pathway. This post requires a minimum of 2 years cancer nursing experience.

You will require a positive outlook and the desire to drive new policies and procedures to help us achieve the 28 day pathway for lung cancer.
