The position is part of AXA Group Operations in the Group Security division. Our security mission is to ensure that AXA is safe, secure and resilient. Throughout the Group, 1000 security professionals are working daily to protect our customers, employees, operations and brand. Our operating model gathers the three security disciplines Information Security, Operational Resilience, and Physical Security, Health & Safety to anticipate and face threats.
Job purpose
Group Security reinforces the security oversight of all Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures throughout AXA Group by dedicating security specialists to coordinate Group Security operations during all phases of the M&A deals, from the pre-signing to the closure of the Transition Service Agreement. Their mission is to anticipate, identify, and manage potential security risks that might affect our security posture and operational resilience during these transformative/changing processes. This proactive approach ensures that we uphold the highest security standards, protecting our staff, customers and stakeholders alike. The typical duration of an M&A deal, and therefore the time horizon of the Job, is 3 to 5 years. At the beginning of the deal, when anticipation is requested, limited information is available.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) M&A Security Lead to join our Security Risks and Assurance team. The M&A Security Leadwill ensure that all transactions are conducted in a secure environment. This position will report to our Red Team Executive Manager within Group Security Division and will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies for M&A and divestitures activities.
Key responsibilities – accountabilities
Conduct security assessments of potential M&A targets to identify security risks and vulnerabilities with the support of the Red Team experts.
Develop and implement security strategies and plans to mitigate risks associated with M&A and divestiture activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security due diligence is completed effectively and efficiently
Develop and monitor security metrics to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Provide technical expertise on security issues to the M&A team
Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on the security risks and opportunities associated with M&A transactions.
Support senior management in the development of corporate security policies and procedures
Conduct security reviews of third-party vendors and partners.
Stay current with industry developments and trends related to M&A security

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Overall work experience in the field
At least 7 years of experience in security management, including experience in M&A security
Solid knowledge of security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001 , NIST, GDPR, ITIL and SOX.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or other relevant security certifications are preferred.
Relevant experience in M&A security, information security, or related fields
Skills / abilities
