Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group acts in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response by mobilizing the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to bring humanitarian supplies around the world.Present in 160 countries through its network of more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses, the Group employs more than 155,000 people worldwide, including 4,000 in Marseilles where its head office is located.Location: Marseille – travel requiredContract: Permanent – Full timeCompany: CMA CGMYOUR ROLE :CMA CGM is looking for a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions projects, in the framework of its strategic development.As a member of the CMA CGM Group’s Finance Department, you will contribute to the management of strategic development projects in close collaboration with the Executive Management of the Group.The Project Manager will report directly to the Deputy Vice President – Head of M&A.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Your main missions will be to determine, propose and implement all structuring actions (and in particular alliances / cooperations / disposals / acquisitions / asset purchases, etc.), in France or abroad, in close collaboration with the Group’s Finance Department and the managers of our various activities:
• You develop market analyses, competitive mapping and identification of potential growth targets on an international basis;
• You present opportunities adapted to our growth ambitions in our various markets;
• You supervise and coordinate all stages of the transaction: target search, design of documentation, financial modeling, negotiation and signing of the transaction, taking care of all legal, financial and tax aspects;
• You manage these development projects by leading the multidisciplinary teams designated specifically for each operation;
• You monitor the implementation of agreements and contracts by ensuring the proper execution of the commitments made;
• You will participate in obtaining the necessary authorizations from the General Management by building the files by involving upstream the management of the operational and functional entities concerned in compliance with the internal governance processes.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have at least 8 to 10 years of experience and are a graduate of an engineering or business school.
• You are recognized for your project management skills, your negotiation skills and your appetite for teamwork developed in investment banking, in an M&A team within an industrial company or in an audit firm (transaction services). A previous experience in a financial due diligence team would be appreciated.
• You will be able to make proposals in a demanding and motivating environment and take decisions in a concerted manner. Dynamic and responsive, you have good interpersonal skills and are able to work autonomously and transparently, knowing how to deal with the unexpected.
• You have in-depth knowledge of partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, international development and finance.
• Experience in logistics, transportation or infrastructure would be a plus.
• Your English is fluent and operational.
