Company DescriptionBESIX Group is the largest Belgian contractor with a turnover of more than 2 billion Euros worldwide.In Sint-Pieter Leeuw we have our main workshop where we manage and carry out maintenance, repairs, overhauls and changes to large fleet of construction machines.To further strengthen our processes of continuous improvement, we are looking for a reliability engineer.Job DescriptionYour roleImprove reliability

• You supervise or manage a team of electromechanical in order to reach your reliability goals.
• You play a key role within the organization to increase the reliability of the machinery and to optimize internal processes and methods.
• You regularly visit the machines in production on our sites to carry out root cause analyzes that leads to time lost on site.
• You realize RCA analyzes of malfunctions and breakdowns that lead to production losses. (preventive maintenance checklist, Quality, OPM Checklist)
• You ensure the realization, implementation and update of checklists.
• You define the required KPIs and their measurement methods.
• If necessary, you technically support our team in the workshop

Preventive maintenance

• You are responsible for the realization and updating of the preventive maintenance plans.
• You organize preventive maintenance in the workshop or on the construction sites
• You are responsible for the planning and management of the team
• You guarantee compliance with the maintenance plans and their quality
• You ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• You report to the Plant and equipment manager

Improvement/innovation projects

• For improvement projects and investments in our workshop, you draw up the specifications, and you follow up on their implementation.
• You work out and follow up important improvement projects on our site machines.
• In collaboration with our warehouse and purchasing department you define the strategy for the stock management of critical parts.
• Where necessary, you may be asked to participate in other transversal improvement projects
• Site installation team Supervision Manage a team of electricians and coordinate the installation of a site at the beginning of a project. (Office containers, workers containers and electric power, lightning, electric car charging stations, battery packs, …)

• Provide the electrical installation drawing and insure a complete commissioning of the installation

QualificationsYour profile

• You consider safety, health and the environment to be of paramount importance. Respect is also a big part of this function.
• You have a degree in civil or industrial engineering, or you can look back on a previous significant, successful experience in a similar post.
• You have an excellent analytical mind
• You have the necessary communication skills to successfully realize RCA analyzes in a team.
• You are flexible, autonomous, and you can quickly adapt to new files. You have a good knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and electricity.
• You have a positive attitude; you are eager to learn, conscientious and organized.
• Teamwork is your thing, and you have no problem transferring your knowledge to others.
• You are bilingual (FR/NL) or willing to continue learning in French.
• Knowledge of English or German is a plus.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks/AutoCAD or similar and Excel is a plus.
