Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMUp to £35,000 (dependent on experience & training needs)NorthamptonAbove National Minimum Wage, Day shift, Full Time, Monday to Friday, PermanentEngineering, Industrial, MaintenanceSearch Area: NorthamptonJob Title: Maintenance & Service EngineerLocation: Midlands (Head Office: Northampton, covering Birmingham, Peterborough, Walsall, Northampton)Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience & training needs)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (optional overtime paid at time and a half)Benefits: Company van, tools provided, phone, tablet, fuel card, paid breaks, 25 days holiday + bank holidaysAbout the Role:We are seeking a Maintenance & Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair car lifts and lifting equipment at car garages and MOT centres across the Midlands.This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within the region, with up to three jobs per day, depending on the scope of work.Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair lifting equipment, car bays, and related machinery at client sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct routine servicing and emergency repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a mechanical or electrical maintenance role (experience with garage equipment, mechanics, or plant maintenance is ideal but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Midlands, ensuring arrival at client sites by 8:00 AM (paid travel time at time and a half).
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn-training and upskilling opportunities available.

Additional Information:

• No overnight stays required (no stay-over allowance).
• Overtime available (paid at time and a half).
• Paid breaks (1 hour per day, taken at your discretion).
• Quarterly reviews with management to ensure job satisfaction and development.
