Manager (F/H) Business & Legal Affairs

We are currently looking for a Manager (F/H) Business & Legal Affairs to support our Legal team in Paris. Joining this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and further develop your professional agility and social acumen, key attributes for thriving at BMG! 

What you’ll be doing

• Draft, negotiate and monitor business contracts related to BMG’s music recording & publishing activities
• Advise the French team and BMG affiliates on copyright and related rights issues
• Update standard contracts and create/update legal tools
• Assistance in preparing and monitoring pre-litigations and litigations
• Participate in legal audits relating to potential acquisitions
• Monitor legal watch and contractual deadlines

What you bring

• Master’s degree (M2) in Intellectual Property or comparable studies
• Gained experience working with Intellectual Property (copyright and related rights)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• A structured, organized, and reliable working style
• Experience working as part of a team, and in an international environment
• Fluency in French and English

It’s also a plus if you have…

• Experience in similar role at a record label or a music publishing company
• Ability to propose with new ideas and innovative approaches
