Manager, Financial Reporting – GBM Dublin

Location: Dublin

Department: Finance

Scotiabank is seeking a results-driven Manager, Financial Reporting to support the success of our Dublin-based operations. This role is a key contributor to the delivery of accurate financial, regulatory, and management reporting for Scotiabank (Ireland) DAC, ensuring compliance and excellence across all reporting cycles.

This position is ideal for a qualified finance professional ready to take ownership of critical reporting processes, work closely with global stakeholders, and help drive strategic financial outcomes.

What You’ll Do: 

•            Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy in Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting

•            Prepare and review statutory accounts and coordinate external audits with minimal disruption

•            Manage FINREP and other regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring timely and compliant submissions

•            Deliver high-quality management information (MI) for Senior Management, including ECL and variance analysis

•            Support the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes

•            Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational risk frameworks, and compliance obligations

•            Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with Scotiabank’s values and strategic goals

What You’ll Bring:

•            You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

•            Solid experience relevant to the role

•            Expertise in FRS 102, IFRS, and preparation of statutory financial statements

•            Experience with FINREP and knowledge of CRR/CRD regulatory frameworks

•            Advanced Excel skills; experience with PeopleSoft and Axiom is advantageous

•            Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
