Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Manual Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:

• Creation and modification of test data (in the form of a text/XML files);
• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
• Execution of the corresponding tests using test tools;
• Reporting of test results.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 3 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Hands-on experience in manual testing;
• Experience in the test data preparation;
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile);
• Knowledge of XML/Schematron file format;
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence/SharePoint;
• Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools;
• Excellent command of the English language.
