We are seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer II on a permanent basis
to join our team.
Job Purpose:
Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Clonmel as an experienced engineer and play a vital role in our growth and innovation! In this position, you will be responsible for introducing new products. You will work within a diverse, cross-functional, and global team to implement new manufacturing equipment and processes.
Your focus will be on developing creative solutions to manufacturing challenges, including the adoption of new technologies and innovative techniques. A key aspect of this role is supporting, modifying, and troubleshooting equipment and process requirements, with a strong emphasis on process ownership.
You will take ownership of a specific area by driving process and equipment improvements, as well as overseeing strategic and cost projects.
Key Responsibilities:

-Support the transfer of new products into the production area
-Responsible for the defined area, driving ownership of engineering activities and methodologies, with an emphasis on the equipment and systems validation lifecycle according to approved procedures and standards.
-Demonstrates a wide knowledge of Manufacturing process technologies and ability to develop expertise quickly
-Leads and completes technical activities to develop new or improved products and processes for current and next-generation programs, aligning with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
-Develop an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process including all aspects of production and process controls in-place on these manufacturing lines.
-An expert problem solver with a deep understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques. I coordinate and conduct technical investigations and document non-conforming events and trends, developing technical investigation plans utilizing BSC Engineering Essentials.
-Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
-Integrates business policies into tasks, understands company and customer needs, and anticipates emerging technology trends.
-Be part of a strong team culture around high expectations & high performance.
-Provide clear communication to stakeholders at key technical updates.
Education & Experience:

-Hons BSC Engineering degree (Level 8)
-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Strong knowledge of Boston Scientific systems is advantageous.
-Self-motivated and proactive with the initiative to work independently.
