Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.The Opportunity:The Marketing Automation Specialist role is responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of digital marketing activities in the Global Digital Hub for the Marketing Automation Chapter. The role acts as a specialist role to reach Global Digital Hub’s key objectives and business goals by supporting business partners and stakeholders in owning and executing digital marketing programs and projects. The role is responsible for working with affiliates/global and/or regional teams in executing on the digital strategy related to Roche events, products, services, account-based marketing or any other campaign management-related activities, within the respective Marketing Automation Tool (e.g. Marketo, SFMC, Braze, OCE, etc).The Marketing Automation Specialist is capable of consulting, and orchestrating end-to-end email marketing campaigns from execution til measurement. The role is able to utilize existing templates, forms and landing pages, have a solid understanding about building up complex program/campaign logics and be able to build out reporting metrics that support the business in continuing their growth to meet KPIs and objectives.The Marketing Automation Specialist is able to follow and use existing processes and procedures to work effectively, owns, develops and communicates project goals and timelines for the stakeholders. The Marketing Automation Specialist is able to handle tasks with flexibility and agility to better address strategic needs and reach expected outcomes.The role may include advising and consulting on resolution in case of an error/malfunction appearing in the Marketing Automation Solution, or investigating the problem with involvement of a 3rd party vendor. The role maintains internal processes, documentation, communication plans, and ensures adherence to guidelines and best practices. In this position you will be focusing on:Utilizing advanced skills with Marketing Automation Tools (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, OCE) to enhance campaign management and analytics.Partnering with key stakeholders to build and manage contextual transactional and outbound email communication, as well as nurture campaigns, leveraging valuable product data to drive user engagement.Executing comprehensive global, regional, and affiliate E2E marketing campaigns including asset creation, user journey/logic building, localization, segmentation, testing, and analysis.Providing continuous support for ongoing campaigns, testing workflows, analyzing results, and identifying tactics for improvement.Operationalizing marketing automation programs to support demand generation, retention, and nurture campaigns, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.Facilitating tracking and reporting on email campaigns to guide improvements and ensuring compliance with current email best practices.Understanding stakeholder preferences, providing strategic recommendations, and developing solutions to achieve business goals, offering guidance and operational support for on-demand projects.Adhering to business process management standards, establishing governance principles, maintaining documentation, and ensuring activities align with internal processes for data quality assurance and best practices discussions.This is a 2 years fixed-term position.Who you are:Bringing over 3 years of professional email marketing experience, preferably in a global environment, with a proven track record of developing automated campaigns, and knowledge of HTML and CSS in the context of email marketing.Possessing strong experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, or Braze, with an excellent understanding of user journeys and campaign logic.Demonstrating the ability to plan campaigns that generate demand at key points in stakeholder journeys, while being an innovative marketer aware of the latest email and mobile marketing trends.Holding experience with Adobe Photoshop or other graphic design programs (preferred) and basic experience with SQL queries for SFMC users.Exhibiting strong attention to detail, collaboration skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment, managing conflicting priorities, interests, and timelines.Showcasing excellent organization and project management skills, including vendor/agency management and budget management, with an analytical and strategic mindset.Operating with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating a customer-focused approach, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive and positive attitude.In exchange we provide you with:Development opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
