Marketing Communications Manager EMEA

The role of a regional Marcom manager is to generate awareness and demand for Tektronix products by executing high quality campaigns that are measurable, on time and within budget. This role is responsible for managing the Tektronix brand in a consistent way to create an environment in which customers will prefer to buy from Tektronix.

Key responsibilities :

  • Responsible for effective development and execution of high-quality marcom activities for EMEA. This would include project managing digital activities e.g. email/web campaigns using MS Dynamics as a systems platform, paid advertising, online events, tradeshows/seminars and social media in order to meet the requirements of the regional marketing programs, on time and within set budget.

  • Work with Technical Marketing, Partner Marketing, Marketing Operations & Digital Marketing Teams, to develop a communication strategy and tactics to meet region specific program objectives and roll them out.

  • Together with these partners develop integrated launch and sustaining plans for new product introductions

  • Responsible for timely forecasting of budgets and tracking of costs each month.

  • Track metrics associated with assigned programs and tactics.

  • Interface with other internal and external organizations to support development and execution of activities

  • Manage the relationships and deliverables from agencies, Product Line marketing, Sales teams, Editors and Channel Partners.

  • Work with Technical Marketing for rolling out WW campaigns and for developing local campaigns

Job Requirements :

  • 4 years of knowledge of all aspects of marketing communications (ideally with emphasis on digital and social media)

  • Experience with digital marketing to drive awareness and demand including display advertising, search engine marketing and social media, etc.

  • Proven experience in marketing communications preferred, in a global high-volume B2B and/or B2C environment.

  • Experience in working with agencies.

  • Able to work within a multicultural organization and present effectively to Sales colleagues and Channel Partner Executives

  • Ability to work autonomously towards set targets ensuring successful projects

  • Result oriented

  • Creative mentality

  • Strong team player

  • Native language skills in English and German

  • Willing to travel within Europe occasionally

  • Able to work effectively in a matrix organization, with a confident and enthusiastic manner and a strong motivation to succeed

  • Hybrid position possible in the UK; the office is in Bracknell.
