Apply now!Learn more:Markets Engagement Manager (Data Segmentation & Activation)The Markets Engagement Manager is the primary liaison between JTI’s markets and the Data & Analytics consumer product and technical teams. This role ensures that market needs, concerns, and challenges are effectively communicated, facilitating collaboration to enhance the adoption and usability of data solutions.They participate in weekly calls with the markets to gather insights on operational issues and evolving business needs, translating this feedback into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. The manager provides expert guidance to help markets utilize JTI’s data and analytics capabilities while adhering to best practices.In addition, they keep markets informed about new product developments and help streamline communication between the markets, product, and technical teams for improved efficiency. To assess effectiveness, the Markets Engagement Manager generates monthly dashboards tracking key metrics, such as the number of market requests, resolution times, recurring concerns, and overall satisfaction levels.Position:The Markets Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

• Market Liaison & Communication – Act as the main point of contact for markets, participating in weekly calls to listen to concerns, provide guidance, and capture feedback
• Issue Escalation & Feedback Loop – Ensure that market-reported issues and challenges are systematically escalated to the appropriate product and technical teams, providing structured feedback for continuous improvement
• Advice & Best Practices – Guide markets on the optimal use of JTI’s data and analytics platforms, helping them resolve challenges and adopt best practices
• Cross-Team Coordination – Facilitate communication between markets, product teams, and technical teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and efficient problem-solving
• Service Metrics & Reporting – Develop and maintain monthly dashboards to track market engagement metrics, issue resolution timelines, and recurring themes in market concerns
• Knowledge Sharing & Adoption Enhancement – Promote knowledge-sharing across markets by documenting common challenges, solutions, and best practices, helping drive broader adoption and efficiency in data-related operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, M&S, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or a related field
• Must have business professional expertise (with relevant industry experience) in data analysis and insights generation
• Proven working experience in project management
• Able to collect and organize data from different sources to solve a business question
• Should be passionate about challenging and interrogating data and its interpretation
• Should be a creative thinker who can offer a new perspective to analyze data and build storytelling.
• Must be able to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders
• Should be a creative thinker and propose innovative ways to look at problems by using data mining (the process of discovering new patterns from large datasets) approaches on the set of information available
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across functions
• Acts proactively to anticipate the future implications of actual decisions
• Digital mindset, entrepreneurial and curious
• Fluent in English
• Ability to operate in indirect/remote teams
• Demonstrable experience in presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, and with reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau as well as web analytics
• Knowledge of major “big data” storage/data platforms (i.e. Data Lake)
• Experience in project management tools, agile team coordination
