Job RequirementsQuest Global is a global market leader in diversified engineering solutions and one of the global, reliable and long-term partners of numerous companies in the field of Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Aero Engines, Industrial & Hi-Tech, Medical Devices, Oil & Gas and Power.SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH USWe offer you a motivating environment with exciting projects and would appreciate to welcome you in our team as a:Materials Application Engineer – Production Support SpecialistJob location: Turin areaThe selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for activities related to material characterization.Specifically, the selected resource shall contribute to plan and manage test campaigns with focus on mechanical properties, analyze the results and share the outcomes, partnering with other Departments (i. e., Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) and directly interfacing with suppliers.Work ExperienceQualification Requirements:– Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master Degree or similar background;– Broad knowledge about materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric etc) and their production processes;– Good knowledge and experience on characterization tests, with focus on mechanical ones;– Basic knowledge of fracture mechanics is considered a plus;– Experience with international standards is considered a plus;– Proficiency in English;– Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Desired Skills:– Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability– Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset– Strong analytical and problem solving skills– Excellent team-work attitude– Strong communication and interpersonal skills– Availability for business travels (short & long term travels).– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlinesDue to the nature of work, candidates should be EU Citizens
