The Associate Specialist, Materials Science and Engineering (MS&E) at Organon will support pharmaceutical analytical activities, using techniques like SEM-EDX, FTIR, and Raman to investigate materials issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, conducting root cause investigations, and preparing technical reports.Responsibilities
-Performing hands-on materials science work using techniques like SEM-EDX, FTIR, Raman, and Optical microscopy.
-Investigating extraneous matter in drug products, APIs, excipients, and packaging materials.
-Supporting root cause investigations and troubleshooting product issues.
-Writing and preparing technical investigation reports.
-Assisting in organizing and executing global analytical sciences activities.
-Making independent decisions within guidelines to meet deadlines.
-Collaborating effectively with team members and other departments.Requirements
-a masters or bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical, physical, chemical or analytical.
-Hands on lab experience in pharma environment, R&D Manufacturing, or testing of pharmaceutical products.
-SEM-EDX, FTIR, Raman, and Optical microscopy
-Strong experience in writing technical investigation reports
-Ability to work independently, make decisions, and meet deadlines.Other information
