Job DescriptionMaths Teacher – Secondary School – Westminster – September Start
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Bromley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher-whether experienced or newly qualified-to join a supportive and well-resourced department focused on delivering outstanding maths education.Location: Westminster
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary or Permament
Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Dependent on Experience)About the Role:

• Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities

• Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, resilience, and achievement in mathematics

• Track and assess pupil progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods

• Work closely with the Maths department and wider staff team to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development

• Take part in school life, including meetings, CPD, and extra-curricular enrichment activities

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)

• Brings excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and lesson planning skills

• Demonstrates a passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through their induction year
