ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

 

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the Coty Group has developed an ambitious, data-driven roadmap to facilitate data-led decision-making, using brand, consumer, and retailer data to generate actionable insights.

Part of the Central Digital team, under the responsibility of the Global A&CP Data & Digital Analytics Senior Director, the Measurement & Advanced Analytics Director will lead media effectiveness and efficiency measurement projects and as the data referent in the MMM program ensure global consistency in Marketing Mix Modelling inputs and outputs.

 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

Media Effectiveness and Efficiency Measurement Lead:

  • Lead data and analytics projects within the Media Efficiency Roadmap.
  • Oversee advanced analytics projects to yield impactful results for the business and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with agencies, global media, and procurement.
  • Implement and manage tracking dashboards and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress and metrics.

Marketing Mix Modelling Expert:

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact with market x brands program rollout coordinator to ensure global consistency of MMM results.
  • Ensure global consistency of data used in the measurement framework for launched markets and brands.
  • Define and track measurement standards, and validate model robustness.
  • Ensure global consistency of calculation methods (e.g., how competitor impact is calculated and defined).
  • Oversee the consolidation of results.

 

The role is based in Paris with the possibility of a hybrid working schedule with a maximum of 50% days remote monthly.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

  • Professional with 10+ years of experience In MMM and Media/Marketing Analytics
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling
  • Expertise in data interpretation and deriving actionable insights
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in data analytics platforms, database, & computation, visualization  tools (SQL, Python, Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, R, Github, PowerBi etc)
  • Deep understanding of marketing mix modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of media planning and buying processes
  • Understanding of media data technologies and tools
  • Good understanding of the different analytics & measurement approach as well as their implication in the ad tech/mar tech architecture & flow design;
  • Degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics or Economics. 
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive, outside-of-the-box thinking.
  • Highly disciplined and rigorous. 
  • Good project management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms
  • Very good level of English written and orally. French is a plus.
