Therefore, we are looking for a Mechanical Drafter to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamAs our new Mechanical Drafter, you will become our CAD Technician and help transform complex ideas into manufacturable, high-quality products and solutions.Our Mechanical Engineering department acts as the mechanical center of excellence across all our business areas. The department consists of approximately 20 colleagues, including mechanical engineers, specialists, and CAD Technicians. The team covers a wide range of systems and applications across all our domains.

The department includes colleagues of varying seniority, age, and backgrounds.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:

  • Support mechanical development and documentation across projects
  • Construct 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies for use in complex electromechanical systems
  • Prepare clear and accurate 2D drawings based on ISO standards and our internal documentation guidelines (including GPS)
  • Create and maintain structured Bills of Materials
  • Manage and execute engineering change orders
  • Conduct or participate in design and documentation reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical designers, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers
  • Maintain Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data integrity and handle documentation throughout the lifecycle
  • Contribute to prototype development including 3D print preparation and evaluation
  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes and best practices

Bring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement

  • You hold a degree / education as a Teknisk Designer, Bygningskonstruktør (with strong CAD experience), Industritekniker or Produktionsteknolog or another relevant technical education with documented experience in mechanical design and documentation
  • You have solid skills in 3D CAD Modeling & Drafting. Preferably in Solid Edge or similar
  • You are able to model mechanical assemblies and prepare drawings with a focus on function, manufacturability, and clarity
  • You have good knowledge of ISO drawing standards including GPS. Experience preparing accurate 2D production drawings. Manufacturing Process Understanding. E.g. Familiarity with turning, milling, and sheet metal production methods
  • You have experience with PLM and ERP Systems – ideally with Windchill and IFS or similar systems for change handling and documentation control
  • You are capable of maintaining structure, compliance, and traceability in documentation with attention to detail and quality
