Mechanical/HVAC Project ManagerMy client are a privately owned Mechanical Contractor based in Surrey who have been operating for 26 years.As a business, they employ about 35 staff across the board and specialise in Fast Track Commercial Office Fit out projects in London with Project values ranging from £500k – £11.5Mil.JOB SUMMARY – Mechanical/HVAC Project ManagerWe are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager to join our team.The Project manager will be vital in ensuring all new projects and contract commitments run smoothly. The PM will ensure that new projects and current contracts are developed, planned and carried out efficiently, ensuring full customer satisfaction throughout.The Project manager will be responsible for the day to day running of contracts. This includes; booking in works, organising engineers, dealing with clients, liaising with the works director and reacting to general daily client and project issues.Majority of the Mechanical / AC Projects will be in London and M25 orbital ranging from £500k to £11.5m and focusing on installation and commercial fit outs for AC, ventilation and associated mechanical plantExperience required:Should possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing multi-disciplined Mechanical Services & Installations, preferably in the Commercial Sector, with responsibilities including:

• Programming

• Technical Submittals

• Procurement

• Sub-contractor and Labour Management

• Cost Control

• Progress Reporting

• Health & Safety

• Project & Programme Implementation

• Understanding of design and drawings

• Technical & Progress Meetings

• Regular Site Inspection and Snagging

• Compilation of O&M Manuals

SALARY & PACKAGE

• Up to £70,000
• Travel expenses to site covered
• 20 Days Holiday & 8 Bank Holidays (increases to 25 Days after 2 years service)
• Pension Scheme
