Job Description Summary Location: Denmark, Hybrid. Providing scientific information, helping design & organize clinical studies, building informative dialogue with KOLs and regulatory customers. Enable and support Medical Affairs Operational Excellence by securing adherence to internal and external regulations and guidance.The position is reporting to the Country Medical Director.Job DescriptionYour Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Medical Lead: Knowledge transfer and engagement building: Lead initiatives to foster strong knowledge transfer and understanding among key Medical Experts for priority brands within the assigned Therapeutic Area(s). Leverage in-depth scientific expertise and utilize tailored engagement strategies to ensure Medical Experts have full knowledge and understanding of the latest clinical data and research. Employ strategic, personalized interactions to not only communicate key medical information but also to cultivate advocacy by engaging Medical Experts in scientific discussions, collaborative projects, and evidence generation activities.
- Evidence Generation: Operationalize evidence generation plans in collaboration with the Nordic Evidence Generation Lead(s). Engage strategic Medical Experts to participate in and support evidence generation initiatives, ensuring that data generated aligns with both local and global scientific and business objectives.
- External Engagement: Lead and manage external discussions with healthcare professionals regarding pipeline assets, ensuring that the scientific and strategic narrative is clear, compelling, and aligned with the company’s objectives. Address off-label inquiries with the highest standards of scientific integrity and compliance, serving as a trusted source of information.
- Medical Affairs Strategy: Develop and execute the Nordic/Country Medical Affairs Strategy for the assigned Therapeutic Area(s). Ensure that this strategy is closely aligned with global objectives, while also addressing local needs and market dynamics.
- Scientific Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) within the Therapeutic Area(s), providing scientific leadership to cross-functional teams. Lead the dissemination of evidence and data to influence national guidelines and recommendations, ensuring that the latest scientific insights are effectively communicated to key stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Market Access, the Healthcare Manager (HCM), and other cross-functional stakeholders and teams to develop a cohesive approach to brand advocacy, medical engagement, and market access strategies. Ensure alignment across functions to maximize the impact of medical activities.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee medical projects throughout the entire product life-cycle, from development to post-marketing authorization. Manage budget and resources to ensure the timely and successful execution of these projects.
- Operational Excellence: Provides scientific input as well as guidance and review for post-launch marketing materials and concept generation for prioritized brand. Responsible for compliance to global/regional medical excellence guidelines, including applicable SOPs, regulations and performance indicators (metrics). Supports medical affairs activities with administrative tasks and managed access programs.
Essential Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years of Pharmaceutical experience.
- Education: Life Sciences Degree.
- Proficient Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Project Management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Stakeholder Engagement.
- Customer oriented.
